Appalachian Pipeline Contractors knows that union employees provide the skilled craft knowledge required in the pipeline industry.

As a member of the Pipeline Contractors Association, we recognize the four crafts invovled with cross-country pipeline construction:

• The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada;
• The International Union of Operating Engineers;
• International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America; and
• The Laborers International Union of North America.

The Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) is recognized by its members to be the sole negotiator in the collective bargaining process with the unions. 

APC-LP supports the efforts of the PLCA to advance the pipeline construction industry.
