Pipeline Construction for Any Size Job, From Short Runs to 100-Plus Miles
Appalachian Pipeline is an independent, owner-run pipeline contractor based in Gallatin, Tennessee. We build oil, gas, and refined-products pipelines from short runs to 100-plus-mile projects, and we deliver complete design-build packages for power and data center builders.
Independent, and Built That Way on Purpose
Almost every contractor our size is publicly traded and owned by one of a few large parent companies. We are not. Being privately owned means leaner overhead, faster decisions, and owners who are accessible and down the hall.
- Privately owned, decisions made in-house and answered fast
- Built for any size job, short tie-ins to 100-plus-mile spreads
- Plain-spoken, honest scope, honest timelines, no sugar-coating
Full-Scope Pipeline Construction
We self-perform across the whole pipeline scope. Start with the work that fits your project, and dig as deep as you need on each one.
Design-Build / EPC Delivery
Turnkey delivery for power and data center projects, engineering through construction under one contract.
Core Pipeline Construction
Transmission and distribution for natural gas and refined products, including large-diameter, cross-country lines.
Specialized Services
Hydrostatic testing, HDD, fabrication, concrete coating and weights, meter stations, and marsh work.
Rehabilitation and Integrity
Rehabilitation, replacement, and integrity management for aging infrastructure that has to keep running.
One Contract, From Engineering to the Finished Line
If you are building a data center or a power project and have never hired a pipeline contractor, design-build is the simplest way in. We carry the engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction under a single contract, so you have one partner accountable for the whole job instead of a stack of vendors to coordinate.
- Engineering, permits, procurement, and construction under one contract
- A single point of accountability from first drawing to final tie-in
- Built for buyers new to pipeline work, we walk you through every stage
- Self-perform crews, so schedule and quality stay in our hands
How a Crew Becomes a Spread
A spread is the full crew and equipment line-up that moves down a pipeline right-of-way as one coordinated unit. The longer the job, the more spreads we run and the more superintendents we put on it. That is how we take on cross-country work without losing control of safety or schedule.
So whether you are planning a short run or a 100-plus-mile line, the question is never whether we are big enough. It is how many spreads the job calls for.
Projects in the Field
Many of our contracts keep the client confidential, so we tell the story by scope, scale, and result.
Large-Diameter Line, Multiple Spreads
A long-haul transmission build staged across several spreads and superintendents, delivered on schedule and to specification.
Turnkey Tie-In for a Power Project
Engineering, permitting, and construction carried under one contract for a buyer new to pipeline work.
Marsh and Wetland Construction
Sensitive-ground pipeline work completed with the right-of-way restored and the schedule held.
